The rehabilitation unit of the Perpetuo Socorro Hospital is fully-equipped and has an outstanding team of specialised professionals and wide-ranging infrastructure which enables us to offer the patient comprehensive rehabilitation. This Unit is mainly aimed at the functional recovery and rehabilitation of traumatological and neurological pathologies, along with acute and sub-acute functional deterioration of different etiology.
We combine manual therapy techniques, physical therapeutic exercise and electro-therapy.
We also adapt consultation hours and physiotherapy sessions in order to fully satisfy the patient.

A new feature sees three new individual programs offered with the aim of bringing rehabilitative treatment closer to all patients.
They include a multidisciplinary team of recognised standing: traumatologists, paediatricians, geriatricians, neurosurgeons and other specialists. If necessary, they work together to offer the best healthcare possible. The patient is seen to by a rehabilitative doctor and treated by physiotherapists and rehabilitative assistants with vast experience in the field of physiology and locomotor system pathologies, thus guaranteeing optimal results.
