About us
Perpetuo Socorro Hospital was founded in 1959 in response to a demand for Surgical, Obstetric and Emergency healthcare. Since then it has become one of the largest hospitals in the country, with a wide range of healthcare services that include all medical specialities. It is located in four adjoining eight-storey buildings in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city centre. It has 195 beds and a 24 hour Emergency Service, including Paediatric Emergencies and an Intensive Care Unit operated by specialists.
The healthcare provided is aimed at private patients, all of whom are insured with private insurance companies, and forms part of the Canary Islands’ Healthcare Service Partnership.
The Hospital has a Group VI, Level III rating, established by the National Government in its Ruling of May 1980, this being the maximum rating for a private hospital in the Canary Islands.
We want to take care of you.
